Sega Announces Dreamcast Collection For Xbox 360 And PC

Today Sega officially confirmed the long-rumored Dreamcast Collection for the Xbox 360 and the PC. Several retailers had this title showing up on their systems, but until it’s officially announced it’s all just “speculation”.

The Dreamcast Collection includes four games from Sega’s beloved underdog console: Sonic Adventure, Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5: Part 2, and SEGA Bass Fishing. The games will feature modern improvements like enhanced graphics, achievements and online leaderboards.

As a day one owner of the Dreamcast (9/9/99!) I was personally hoping for something more comprehensive like Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection, but this will have to do for now.

Sega’s Dreamcast Collection arrives on February 22 in North America and February 25 in Europe.

About Dynamite Jack

I began playing video games in 1981 at age five on my family's Atari 800 and have been hooked ever since. I cut my teeth on such non-classics as Star Raiders and Salmon Run before moving to the NES I got for Christmas in 1987. (Yes, I had R.O.B. the Robot)

Over the years I've survived numerous console wars like the SNES vs Genesis, PlayStation vs. N64, and the brutal Dreamcast vs. PS2. I'm the proud owner of all of today's consoles and the only preference I have is for great games. Fanboys begone! I like liking things :)
